Product introduction
Cordierite–mullite saggers, as a new type of energy-saving refractory product, place extremely stringent demands on creep resistance and spalling resistance. Although domestic R&D efforts are currently underway to upgrade these products, the results have so far been less than satisfactory.
Our company’s sagger production technology was introduced from South Korea, covering formulation, manufacturing processes, process control, and testing methods. A senior Korean engineer is stationed at our facility on a long-term basis to oversee sagger production and quality acceptance.
Currently, our main product dimensions include 310×310 mm, 330×330 mm, and additional sizes; wall thickness ranges from 60 to 150 mm.
Key technical control points:
(1) Particle size distribution and chemical composition of raw materials;
(2) Moisture content during forming and crack control;
(3) Control of firing temperature profile and firing time.
